Khwarizmi Science Society (KSS) and Ali Institute of Education (AIE) are organizing the third Lahore Science Mela on October 12th and 13th, 2019. The grand science fest held at the Ali Institute of Education, Ferozepur Road, will be an opportunity to engage citizens, of all ages and backgrounds, through stalls and exhibitions that celebrate science, engineering, medicine, technology, art, photography, creativity and innovation. The idea behind our science Mela series is to affect the public’s outlook toward science, celebrate the idea that science belongs to everyone, and inspire the next generation of scientists and technologists in Pakistan.
This year to expand the sphere of excellence in Art and Science amalgamation KSS is organizing Photography contest that will be one of the main exhibit of Lahore Science Mela 2019. So, the time has come for you to prove your mettle in this field of photography!
Participants can submit 3 photographs relevant to each theme (i.e. maximum 9 photographs in total)
• Participant can only take part on an individual basis.
• All pictures should be taken from a digital camera (including mobile).
• Only basic editing, including color enhancement, exposure balance, and cropping of the photo(s) is acceptable.
• Advance editing used to create illusion, deception and/or manipulation will result in disqualification.
• NO WATER MARKS are allowed on the image.
• Initially soft copy will be submitted via email or through online form; chosen number of participants submissions will be printed by KSS LSM.
• The final decision will be undertaken by the judges on event day.
• Participants are to present their photos to the judges.
• Winners will be presented with shields and certificates.
• Four Categories of Participation:
o School
o College
o University
o Open to all ages and professions
• NOTE: School, College and University students have to show/submit copy of their Institution ID card on event day before presentation session.

Moon and the City (مہتاب اور نگری)
Weird and Wonderful (دلچسپ و عجیب)
People and Skills (ہنر اور ہنر مند)

Rename your every image file in the following sequence before online submission i.e. your name, category, theme, submission number
